Build your confidence, become a better public speaker, learn to write and deliver jokes. Our comedy show workshops are perfect for you if you’re new to comedy, or a practiced comedian looking to hone your craft.  

 

Taught by seasoned professionals and delivered in an interactive, encouraging environment all of our workshops culminate in a live comedy show.

Scott Faulconbridge returns to Levity Comedy Club & Lounge with a new workshop to teach you how to develop new material and offer valuable insight into the working world of standup comedy. This series, geared for beginners, will help you put together a sharp and polished 5 minute stand-up comedy act in 5 weeks. The 6th week is a graduation show at Levity Comedy Club in Hamilton where you can show-off to friends and family what you have learned!

Classes will take place at Levity Comedy Club & Lounge on Tuesdays from 6-8 PM

FIRST CLASS: Tuesday March 19th, 2024 6-8 PM

SECOND CLASS: Tuesday March 26th, 2024 6-8 PM

 

THIRD CLASS: Tuesday April 2nd, 2024 6-8 PM​

 

FOURTH CLASS: Tuesday April 9th, 2024 6-8 PM

FIFTH (FINAL) CLASS: Tuesday April 16th, 2024 6-8 PM

GRADUATION SHOW: Tuesday April 23rd 2024 8 PM

About Scott:

     Scott Faulconbridge has delighted International audiences with his masterful timing, quirky story telling and quick improvisational wit and established himself as one of Canada's headlining acts. His unique stories and songs are inspired by family mishaps that have made him a crowd favourite across the globe. His work has earned him three Canadian Comedy Award nominations for his work as an Improviser and a stand up comedian.

     He has toured theatres coast to coast in both The Just For Laughs Tour and The Investors Group National tour.  He has also opened for Howie Mandell at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. His stories,  jokes and rants and have been heard on CBC radio for shows such as 'The Debaters', 'LOL', and 'Day 6'.  He hastaped specials for CTV's Comedy Now,  CBC 's“Comics',  The Winnipeg Comedy Festival, The Halifax Comedy Festival and has made over a dozen appearances at The Internationally Acclaimed Just For Laughs Festival.

     In the United States he has toured colleges across the country and headlined the legendary Las Vegas “The Riviera” comedy club.  His albums ‘Warn the Others’ and Scottland’ were heard on Sirius XM and he has been seen on numerous televised specials including NBC's 'Last Comic Standing', ‘Friday Night Videos’ and Showtime's ‘Full Frontal Comedy’.

    In Canada, Scott performs regularly at Corporate events and comedy clubs across the country.  His latest album ‘Above an Abandoned Building’ will be released Internationally on June 15 and he will be starring in Bell Fibe TV1’s ‘Faulconbridge’s Falling Down’ later in the summer of 2023.
